Abstract:

Probiotics play an important role in animal health, disease prevention and recovery. Intestinal colonization of probiotics is an important prerequisite for their long-term and stable probiotic role. However, compared with the function and application of probiotics, the colonization mechanism of probiotics in gut has received significantly less attention. In addition, the colonization of different kinds of probiotics in the intestines of different animals is different, and the colonization process involves multiple factors. Therefore, the colonization mechanism of probiotics in gut is more complex. This paper reviewed the effector molecules from probiotics and their effects, intestinal colonization factors and their effects, and the effects and mechanisms of intestinal microorganisms on the colonization of probiotics, which provides scientific basis for the efficient use of probiotics and the improvement of animal intestinal health.
